TikTok has rolled out a major update to its Subscription program, giving creators the chance to earn up to 90% of profits from their subscribers.
The feature, first introduced to help creators build closer fan communities, lets audiences pay a monthly fee for access to exclusive videos, badges, and behind-the-scenes content. Under the new model, creators now receive a 70% revenue share after fees — with an additional 20% monthly reward available to those who meet TikTok’s engagement criteria.
To qualify for the full 90%, creators must have:
- 10,000 followers or more
- 100,000 video views in the past 30 days
- At least three subscription-only posts each month
The update strengthens TikTok’s growing focus on creator monetisation, placing it closer to rivals like YouTube and Twitch, which already reward consistent uploads and fan interaction.
For creators, the message is clear: build community, stay active, and earn more for it.
